CEO Werner Lieberherr Leaves MANN+HUMMEL

Nicolaas Zerbst has been appointed as interim managing director and will for the time being manage the group together with managing director Emese Weissenbacher.

Werner Lieberherr, CEO of MANN+HUMMEL, will leave the company with immediate effect by mutual agreement. The reason for this is the different views on the future strategic direction. The manager with broad industrial experience joined the family business in October 2018 in order to keep the company on course for success. Nicolaas Zerbst has been appointed as interim managing director and will for the time being manage the group together with managing director Emese Weissenbacher.

Thomas Fischer, chairman of the supervisory board, thanks Werner Lieberherr for his commitment to the consistent expansion of the Transportation as well as the Life Science & Environment business units. “Our company and its teams are committed to identifying and implementing future trends at an early stage to sustainably strengthen our competitiveness,” describes the family entrepreneur the innovative strength of the filtration specialist. “We will now take sufficient time to find a successor. Meanwhile we can build on a leadership team that has been managing the company internationally in a highly professional manner for a long time,” Fischer continued.
