Centric Parts has announced the hiring of Tony Edwards to fill the newly created position of strategic account executive, retail sales. Edwards will lead Centric’s retail commercial support center in Memphis, Tennessee, reporting to Dan Billie, executive vice president of sales and marketing.
“Tony brings over 20 years of experience in the automotive aftermarket. His proven leadership, retail experience and product knowledge is a perfect match to lead our efforts in retail,” said Billie.
A former merchandising director at AutoZone, Edwards was previously with Prestone/UCI FRAM Group as director of sales to AutoZone, and before that, marketing director at CARDONE Industries, responsible for brakes, corporate marketing and global purchasing.
