ATK Names Dan Belling President

Dan Belling, vice president of sales and marketing for ATK North America, has been promoted to the position of president. As president, Belling will be responsible for all of ATK’s U.S. operations. ATK North America is part of the VEGE Group, an international remanufacturing organization specializing in replacement engines and transmissions for passenger cars and light trucks.

Sorensen Appointed to Hella Inc. Board of Directors

Automotive aftermarket lighting and component specialist Hella Inc. has named Soren Sorensen to its board of directors. Sorensen, vice president of special OEM sales, has been involved with Hella products for more than 25 years and has led Hella’s sales efforts in a number of positions.

American Axle CFO Robin Adams Rejoins BorgWarner

Former American Axle and BorgWarner exec Robin Adams has rejoined the company to take on the positions of executive vice president, chief financial officer (CFO) and chief administrative officer. Adams replaces William Cline who has been serving as acting CFO for the company.Adams most recently served as executive vice president of finance and CFO for American Axle and Manufacturing. Prior to that he was with BorgWarner for 13 years, serving as vice president and treasurer from 1993 to 1999.

Mitch Williams, founder of Vehicle Performance Systems, a recently formed international sales and marketing agency, has joined the ANSA Automotive sales team. Heading up National Sales Development, he will focus on expanding and managing the independent outside rep base and developing major WD relationships for both Silverline and ANSA SPORT performance exhausts.

WORLDPAC Names New CEO, COO

WORLDPAC President Tom O’Hare has been promoted to CEO of the company. O’Hare will remain on the board of directors. Filling the position that has opened as a result of O’Hare’s promotion, John Mosunic, vice president of finance, has been promoted to president of WORLDPAC. He has also been named COO.

UQM Technologies Names Vice President of Operations

UQM Technologies, a developer of alternative energy technologies, has appointed Ronald Burton to the newly created position of vice president of operations with responsibility for the company’s engineering and manufacturing operations. Burton will report to President and CEO William Rankin.

Visteon Appoints Anjan Chatterjee as Acting CFO

Visteon has appointed Anjan Chatterjee as acting chief financial officer, effective today, April 1. Chatterjee will serve as an interim replacement for Daniel Coulson, who retired on March 31, after 38 years at Visteon and Ford Motor Co.

Dover Motorsports Subsidiary Assigns Rights to Grand Prix of Denver to Open Wheel Racing Series, LLC

Dover Motorsports and its wholly owned subsidiary, Grand Prix Association of Long Beach, has reached an agreement with CART successor and owner of the Champ Car World Series, Open Wheel Racing Series, LLC (OWRS) to transfer to certain OWRS assets and rights that Grand Prix has relative to the organization and promotion of the Grand Prix of Denver, subject to certain conditions and approvals.

GKN Names New Driveline Global Director-Ford Sales

Jim Voeffray has been named global director for Ford Group accounts at GKN Driveline. He will be based out of GKN’s Auburn Hills, Mich., technical center and will report to Ted Rodewig, executive director of marketing.Voeffray has been with GKN for six years and held positions as account director for Ford Americas and Ford Europe. In his new position, Voeffray will oversee all GKN Driveline projects with Ford Motor Co. and its global affiliates.

Action Executive to Join Jeff Gordon, Inc.

John Bickford Sr., executive vice president of strategic alliances for motorsports merchandise company Action Performance, has resigned to take the position of vice president and general manager of star NASCAR driver Jeff Gordon’s Jeff Gordon, Inc. Bickford will also oversee Gordon’s other business related interests.
