RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. The Brake Manufacturers Council (BMC) of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA) has announced the launch of its new Web site, www.brakecouncil.org, which offers members an online resource for the latest industry news as well as council events, initiatives and programs.
Features of the newly updated BMC Web site include a daily news feed to the top news stories about trends and events affecting the motor vehicle parts supplier industry; a BMC membership roster with individual contact information and company web links; a calendar of industry events; and links to Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standards (FMVSS), SAE technical papers and other important Web sites and publications.
“The new BMC Web site has been under development for several months with the direct involvement of the BMC leadership,” noted Jack Cameron, BMC staff executive and vice president of the Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA). “The new site is a great online resource for members. A BMC Web Site Committee will be appointed to add even more enhancements to the site in the future.”
Established in 1973, the Brake Manufacturers Council (BMC) is dedicated to providing and maintaining, for the mutual benefit of all its members, communications as appropriate with federal, state, and local governmental authorities, as well as technical bodies and Standard Development Organizations, such as SAE and its technical committees.
