BROADVIEW, Ill. Robert "Bobby" Bloom has joined the Robert Bosch LLC North America Automotive Aftermarket Division as vice president, independent aftermarket sales.
In this new role, Bloom is responsible for independent aftermarket sales, customer service and category management in the United States. He is located in Bosch’s Broadview, Ill., office, reporting directly to Odd Joergenrud, regional president, Automotive Aftermarket Division North America.
Bloom comes to Bosch with more than 17 years of sales and marketing experience in retail, industrial and wholesale distribution channels. Most recently he was vice president, marketing for Jacuzzi Group Worldwide. Prior to Jacuzzi, Bloom spent 15 years at Black & Decker in various sales and marketing leadership roles with the DeWALT power tools business in the industrial and commercial construction channels. In his last four years at Black & Decker, Bloom served as vice president of sales for the Hardware Home Improvement Group and led its efforts with national, regional and local home builders.
Bloom holds a BA in finance from Vanguard University, and an MBA from the University of Southern California.
