Bennett Auto Supply Opts for Autopart Solution

Florida auto parts chain to use MAM's management solution to run its 31 stores.

POMPANO BEACH, Fla. – MAM Software Inc., a global provider of business management solutions for the automotive aftermarket, has announced Bennett Auto Supply Inc. has selected MAM Autopart to manage its 31-store auto parts chain. The powerful business management solution will also control the company’s warehousing and administrative operations, providing Bennett Auto Supply with real-time integration across its entire organization.

Founded in 1946, Bennett Auto Supply is one of the oldest and largest auto parts suppliers in Florida. The family owned business has 31 stores across the state and a modern 92,000-square-foot distribution center and corporate office located in Pompano Beach. An active member of the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, the company employs more than 400 people and ranks in the top 40 national auto parts chains.

MAM says Autopart will provide Bennett Auto Supply with a robust business environment for controlling its sales, inventory, accounting, reporting and e-commerce processes. Employing the latest Microsoft technologies, it will help the business achieve tangible positive results such as improved efficiency, lower operating costs, enhanced customer service and increased profitability.

"Our challenge was to find a modern, feature rich system and a technology partner that was willing to work with us to tailor the software to meet our unique requirements," said Scott Bennett, executive vice president of Bennett Auto Supply. “We chose MAM Software as they are a clear leader in terms of technology and they have a strong reputation to deliver on their commitments. As second-generation owners Harold and Barry Bennett lead the company in this direction, the third generation consisting of myself, Jennifer Bennett and Justin Bennett are thrilled with the bright future that has been put in place with this commitment. We believe it will help us continue our success going forward."

"We are delighted that Bennett Auto Supply has chosen Autopart to manage its business operations" said Brian Allibon, president of MAM Software Inc. "Being the largest chain of auto parts suppliers in Florida, they are yet another prestige addition to our fast-growing number of warehouse distributor and jobber partners. We are looking forward to working closely with them and further adding to the flexibility and depth of functionality that only Autopart has to offer, which is a must for forward-thinking, successful businesses such as Bennett’s."
