BBB Industries has made significant changes to its senior leadership team, naming Michael Hansen as executive vice president (EVP) and chief financial officer (CFO) and Ross Bratlee as EVP and chief transformation officer. The new appointments were announced today by Duncan Gillis, CEO of BBB Industries.
Following successful stints leading the finance and accounting functions at three private equity portfolio companies, Hansen brings deep financial acumen, relevant experience and energizing leadership to BBB Industries. He most recently served as CFO at Cambium Networks, a technology-based fixed wireless broadband company spun off from Motorola. A native of South Africa, Hansen has also held executive financial positions at Verengo Solar, RAE Systems and Smith’s Plc.
Bratlee will transition from CFO into the newly created role of EVP and chief transformation officer. In his new position, Bratlee will lead the integration efforts for BBB’s recent purchase of Remy Power Products North America and all future acquisitions. He also will co-lead the ongoing roll out of a new enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, focusing on the financial and accounting aspects of the system. Bratlee joined BBB in 2016 after serving as CFO at API Heat Transfer and has also served in a variety of senior financial positions at Tomkins, Johns Manville, Reichhold Chemicals, Honeywell and General Electric.
“These are very important changes to our senior executive team,” said Gillis. “We thank Ross for his many contributions as BBB Industries’ CFO over these past years and look forward to supporting him as he moves into this critical new role. Mike brings a complementary skillset and style to our senior team; I’m thankful that he elected to join us from among his many options and am convinced BBB will become an even better company with Mike onboard.”
