Bartec to Sponsor TIA’s Automotive Tire Service Training Program

Company offers special tuition voucher for the program, as part of its commitment to training and education.

STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. – The Tire Industry Association (TIA) is taking its award-winning Automotive Tire Service (ATS)Certification Course on the road in 2012.

Throughout the coming year, in 28 cities across the country, those who successfully complete the four-day class will be certified as Advanced ATS Instructors and will be able to take this critically important tire service knowledge back to their businesses.

As leaders in the TPMS segment, Bartec has announced its sponsorship of this important campaign.

“We believe that 2012 will be an important year for TPMS and tire repair,” said Scot Holloway, CEO of Bartec USA. “In light of two recent revelations –the NHTSA/TIA scenario clarification and a $20 million tire repair settlement – we believe that education, training and of course, having the proper equipment is the best way forward if you are in the tire service business.”

To back up its commitment to training and education, Bartec is offering a unique special offer for the ATS tour. Beginning Jan. 2, included with every NEW Tech400SD TPMS Tool shipped from Bartec is an ATS Registration Form and Tuition Voucher.  The Tuition Voucher, when combined with the special sponsorship tuition rate, equals a $200 discount for this class, and is only available from Bartec.
