Bando Adds Two New Regional Sales Managers

ITASCA, Ill. — Bando USA has announced the addition of Robert Talavera and Michael Walsh to the Bando sales management team.

Talavera has accepted a position with Bando USA as western regional sales manager. He has more than eight years of industry experience, most recently with the Cardone Industries as a zone manager for the Rocky Mountain region. Talavera’s additional experience include holding positions as a NAPA regional instructor as well as an instructor for Denver Automotive and Diesel College. He will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within his defined regions. His responsibilities will include the traditional distribution channels, retail distribution channels and management of numerous independent representative agencies. Talavera resides in Denver, Colo.

Walsh also brings more than eight years of experience to the organization in his new role as northeastern regional manager. His responsibilities will include the traditional distribution channels, retail, program group headquarters and managing the independent rep organizations within his region. Walsh was previously with Keystone Automotive, one of the largest aftermarket parts and accessory distributors in the country. Prior to Keystone he was employed by Dana Corp. as sales manager for the engine management division. Walsh resides in Exeter, Pa.

Bill Flaherty has accepted a position with Bando USA as eastern regional sales manager. Flaherty has more than 15 years of industry experience, most recently with the Tomkins Automotive Aftermarket Group. He previously held various positions within Dana Corp. /Wix Filtration and NAPA GPC Multiline Marketing. In his new role, Flaherty will be responsible for all sales and marketing activities within his defined regions. His responsibilities will include the traditional distribution channels, retail distribution channels, program group headquarters and management of numerous independent representative agencies. Flaherty resides with his family in Portland, ME.

Brian White has also accepted a position with Bando USA as southeastern regional manager, bringing more than 24 years experience to the organization. His responsibilities will include the traditional distribution channels, retail, program group headquarters and managing the independent rep organizations in the region. White has been the director of sales and marketing for KYB America; prior to KYB he had his own marketing company, Automotive Merchandising South. White also has experience in the import specialty and retail markets. He resides in North Carolina with his wife and children.
