Automotive Parts Associates Adds Five New Members

Automotive Parts Associates (APA) said it has seen steady growth in membership this year with five new members joining in just the past six months. APA recently added new members with locations in Illinois, California, Florida, North Carolina and Texas.

LENEXA, Kan. — Automotive Parts Associates (APA) said it has seen steady growth in membership this year with five new members joining in just the past six months.

Foreign Car Parts Inc. (FCP Auto Parts), based in Rolling Meadows, Ill., joined APA in the spring. FCP was founded 28 years ago to serve local repair garages with import parts and has grown into a premier source for both import and domestic parts, with delivery and shipping services.

The summer brought APA three new members. MJS Automotive based in Oxnard Calif., and its branch location, Barbers Warehouse in Covina, Calif., joined APA in late May.

KW Parts Inc., based in Pompano Beach, Fla., and its branch location in Charlotte, N.C., joined APA in June. KW has been in business since 1979 and is an importer and wholesale distributor of quality BMW, Mercedes, Mini, Porsche and Volvo original replacement parts. Additionally, July brought new member, Morris Automotive Supply. A family owned business operating since 1953, Morris Automotive is located in Fontana, Calif.

And, APA’s newest member, Wholesale Parts Direct, joined Sept. 1. Wholesale Parts Direct has been serving customers Austin, Texas, for the past seven years.

“We’re excited about the growth we’ve seen so far this year, especially during these economically challenging times. We’re always pleased when independents recognize our membership benefits and make the commitment to become shareholders,” said APA’s President and CEO, Dan Freeman.

In all, APA currently has 103 members with 178 warehouse locations and a total of 369 company owned stores.
