Automotive Distribution Network Announces Repair America Sweepstakes Winners

MEMPHIS, TN – Parts Plus has announced the major prize winners of its Repair America Sweepstakes promotion for professional service dealers.

Throughout June and July, service dealers were given the opportunity to win valuable prizes in the Repair America Sweepstakes promotion. Each time a service dealer made a purchase at a participating Parts Plus store they were given a game card with a chance to win instant prizes, ranging from knives, hats and food gift cards to $5 cash. Service dealers could also request a game card from Parts Plus headquarters with no purchase. The game cards could be returned to the Parts Plus store or mailed into Parts Plus headquarters to be entered into a drawing for major prizes.

Over the two-month promotion, more than 325,000 game cards were distributed, and more than 45,000 contestants claimed instant prizes. More than 62,000 entries were returned to headquarters for the major prize drawings, with an additional 7,500 entered online through www.partsplus.com.

The winner of the grand prize, a seven-day Bahama Cruise for two, was Mike Roberts of Roberts Auto in Henrietta, TX. The two first-place race weekend package winners were Sonny Reppert, Reppert’s Garage in Northampton, PA, and Edgar Taylor, Ed Taylor’s Automotive in Tucson, AZ. The four second-place $2,500 prize winners were Melvin Nelson, Bill’s Fast Lube, Delano, CA; Billy Lawrence, John West Auto, Raleigh, NC; Pete Lawrie, Pete’s Auto Repair, Waupon, WI; and Troy Sika, Westside Car Care, Lansing, MI.
