Automotive Aftermarket Association Southeast Elects New Officers

Jarrett Liles has served the association as first and second vice chairman as well as a director. He is the first resident of Florida to serve as chairman since Florida joined Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi in the AAAS family in 2009.

AAAS - LogoThe Automotive Aftermarket Association Southeast Inc. (AAAS), a nonprofit trade association serving the automotive parts manufacturing, distribution, service and repair industry, has elected officers during the association’s annual board meeting and annual conference in Destin, Florida. Chairman Jarrett Liles of Connie Liles Auto Parts in Tallahassee, Florida, began his term as chairman in February 2014 when then-Chairman Mike Morgan of Frost Transmission passed away. Liles has served the association as first and second vice chairman as well as a director. He is the first resident of Florida to serve as chairman since Florida joined Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi in the AAAS family in 2009.

Keith West of Auto Supply Co. in Bowden, Georgia, is now the board’s new first vice chairman. Sid Dooley of Associate Jobbers, Boaz, Alabama, is the newest member of the executive committee, elected second vice chairman. Steve Kampwerth, Auto Electric Carburetor & Co., Birmingham, Alabama, will continue to serve as immediate past chairman. Bill Lewis of Speed/Brior in Greenville, Alabama, rounds out the executive committee serving as treasurer. Chairman Liles welcomed new board members Steve Kean, Rick’s Pro Trucks of Brandon, Mississippi, and Michael Morgan Jr. of Frost Transmission, Gadsden, Alabama, to their first board meeting at the conference.
