BUENA PARK, CA — Autologue Computer Systems has announced it has reached a definitive agreement with MindQuest, Inc. to acquire certain ownership rights to MindQuest’s Parts Manager software product.

Autologue will provide product enhancements and customer support for existing and future customers, and will market the product under the name “AutoQuest.” In conjunction with leading warehouse distributors, MindQuest’s Parts Manager software product has been developed from the ground up, and is being used by numerous multi-location warehouse distributors and jobbers.

It was developed for the Windows Operating System and utilizes state-of-the-art Internet technologies for remote site and customer connectivity. The AutoQuest product will round out Autologue’s four-dimensional product strategy that seamlessly connects all segments of the aftermarket. At the core of this strategy is Autologue’s ePartConnection eCommerce engine that provides Internet parts ordering between buyers and sellers. It also includes information databases such as labor guides, specifications and service intervals.

“Autologue has an unprecedented reputation for customer service and quality products for its 1,500-plus jobber and warehouse base,” said Brad Duncan, CEO of MindQuest. “MindQuest is proud to pass our product baton to an organization with the infrastructure to maximize our product’s potential.”

Jim Franco, CEO of Autologue, said, “MindQuest’s Parts Manager gives Autologue a powerful weapon in our existing arsenal of products. The AutoQuest offering will bring state-of-the-art Windows and Internet technology that will fulfill Autologue’s promise to increase business efficiencies and profitability through seamless connectivity of business partners.

The AutoQuest product will be available in the third quarter of this year.
