ASA Tire Systems Adds eCatalog, Service Estimating to Software

The Web-based system enables tire dealers to access the information and parts needed to complete virtually any common automotive repair, the company said.

NASHUA, N.H. — ASA Tire Systems has added a comprehensive auto parts electronic catalog, sourcing and estimating solution to its TireMaster business management software. The new capabilities, made possible through the Activant Integrated Service Estimator (ISE) solution, will help users expand their services, produce faster and more accurate repair estimates and source parts from a significantly larger network of suppliers, according to ASA.

The Web-based system enables tire dealers to access the information and parts needed to complete virtually any common automotive repair, the company said.

“Business owners rely on their ASA TireMaster software to help drive profitable growth through exceptional front-line efficiency. The integration of Activant’s ISE solution takes the value of the TireMaster platform to an entirely new level by helping users successfully expand into new service areas while maintaining a highly streamlined workflow,” ASA President Wayne Croswell said.

The Activant ISE solution provides fast, one-click access to an extensive array of features and functionality, including a database of 7.9 million parts covering approximately 148.5 million applications.

Other features include: the Cover-to-Cover eCatalog module, containing millions of product images, specifications and an OE cross-reference list; LaborExpert aftermarket flat rate labor guide; EZWrite database of popular repair and maintenance services pre-mapped to parts and labor requirements; InterChange cross-reference tool featuring more than 16 million OE-to-aftermarket and aftermarket-to-aftermarket listings; Service Intervals Plus database of OEM-recommended scheduled vehicle maintenance items; and an automatic VIN decoding tool to unlock a vast array of vehicle specifications and related information.
