ASA Automotive Systems Launches Yokohama Interface

The online site dashboard gives associate dealers access to their performance progress, tier-level projections, reward history, co-op claims and other special features.

MERRIMACK, N.H. — ASA Automotive Systems, software and services provider for independent tire dealers and automotive service centers, has announced the availability of the ASA Yokohama Interface to meet new sales data reporting requirements to Yokohama Tire Corporation.

ASA’s new Yokohama Interface provides ADVANTAGE Designated Distributors with a streamlined process to automatically load sales data daily, by part number, validating proof of qualified purchases by Yokohama ADVANTAGE Associate Dealers, in compliance with the recently re-launched Yokohama ADVANTAGE online site.  The online site dashboard gives associate dealers access to their performance progress, tier-level projections, reward history, co-op claims and other special features.

Deal Tire Group, a U.S. multi-brand wholesaler in Medley, Fla., was one of the first sites to implement ASA’s Yokohama Interface.

"Once Yokohama approves the customer, we set them up in our ASA system, and all Yokohama purchases are automatically sent to Yokohama," said Jeff Martino, general manager at Deal Tire. "I get an acknowledgement message from Yokohama confirming whether it processed correctly or not. The fact that it’s automatic and seamless, [and] I don’t have to be pushing buttons to make it work, is a big time saver. The fact that I no longer have to manually produce reports every month and every quarter for Yokohama is another time saver. Plus, it prevents errors. I’m really happy with what ASA did for us."
