ASA Automotive Systems Adds Carfax QuickVIN to POS Software

Users can now retrieve the year/make/model and vehicle identification number (VIN) of their customers' cars more quickly and easily by entering only the license plate information, ASA says.

MERRIMACK, N.H. — ASA Automotive Systems, a provider of software and technology for the tire and automotive aftermarket, has added Carfax QuickVIN to its point of sale software offering. Users can now retrieve the year/make/model and vehicle identification number (VIN) of their customers’ cars more quickly and easily by entering only the license plate information, ASA says. Users can eliminate the risk of costly data entry errors and help ensure they order correctly fitting parts.

“ASA continually adds technology that will enhance the productivity of our tire and auto service clients,” said Ken Halle, president of ASA Automotive Systems. “Carfax is a valued partner of ASA, and the QuickVIN tool will optimize the speed and efficiency of our dealers and allow them to offer an improved level of service to their customers.”

Carfax QuickVIN users also can have their service records turn into free advertising on Carfax Vehicle History Reports. Shop name and contact information appears alongside each service record on the Carfax Report, reaching millions of potential customers.

Attendees at the ASA annual InfoExpo conference in Atlanta Sept. 18-21 can visit the Carfax booth in the Solution Center for a live demonstration of QuickVIN tool.
