Arnold Motor Supply hosted its 30th annual golf and leisure event on Sept. 5 in Spencer, Iowa, with more than 200 company associates and channel partner reps in attendance.
At this year’s inaugural event, Arnold Motor Supply named Kevin Meester and Gates Corp. as Rep of the Year and Channel Partner of the Year, respectively.
“Kevin is the automotive aftermarket territory sales manager with Gates Corp. and one of our most valued reps in the field,” said Brad Edwardson, vice president of business development with Arnold Motor Supply. “He is proactive with looking at our business and suggesting programs and promotions that will drive sales.
“During a recent changeover, Kevin spent weeks prepping our distribution centers, parts stores and customers, ensuring for a smooth transition. He continues to lead the charge optimizing inventory in the stores and with our customers,” said Edwardson.
Gates being named as the channel partner of the year along with Meester’s recognition goes to show that this is truly a team effort. “It’s about the confidence the entire Gates team gave our distribution centers, parts stores and customers leading up to the changeover, and the follow-through and communication throughout the entire process,” says Dennis Spooner, managing partner at Arnold Motor Supply.
