AMS Automotive Restructures Sales Organization

Gary Blakemore joins the company as northeastern regional sales manager, including eastern Canada.

FENTON, Mo. – AMS Automotive announced it is restructuring management responsibilities for sales regions.
 
Michael Mancini, current northeastern regional sales manager, will now be the regional sales manager responsible for the western United States and Mexico.
 
Gary Blakemore has now been appointed as the northeastern regional sales manager, including eastern Canada. Blakemore was previously vice president of St. Louis-based Motor Parts Warehouse, an AMS customer before the business was sold to Uni-Select in 2005. Blakemore also previously served as corporate vice president of wholesale programs for American Parts Systems (APS) in Houston. In addition, he has significant entrepreneurial experience as president and founder of Undercar Parts Co., an early two-step warehouse distributor founded in 1978.
 
Blakemore and Mancini will work over the next three months on details regarding sales coverage in the northeastern region.
