RICHFIELD, OH – OEConnection LLC is teaming up with American Honda Motor Co. to provide its CollisionLink Internet-based parts ordering and fulfillment solution to Honda and Acura dealerships and their collision shop customers nationwide. American Honda joins 11 other automakers already aligned with OEConnection and delivering advanced parts e-commerce technology that streamlines the collision original equipment parts procurement process.

“We’re proud to work with American Honda in providing our collision solution to Honda and Acura dealerships,” said Chuck Rotuno, OEConnection president and CEO. “American Honda’s new relationship with OEConnection furthers CollisionLink’s business value, validation and importance in the marketplace, as well as confirms the significance of this technology for the thousands of dealers and collision shops already on board. We’re confident our products will support Honda and Acura dealerships in enhancing parts department productivity, and facilitating increased original equipment sales opportunities leading to more profitable and successful businesses.”

This technology will link Honda and Acura dealerships online to their wholesale parts customers, providing parts ordering tools to build their parts business. CollisionLink enables collision shops to submit parts orders to their supplying auto dealerships online. Messaging and sending photos of hard-to-specify parts and schematics between dealers and shops enhances customer communication and customer service, according to the company.

As a result, OEConnection says dealerships can realize the following benefits:

· Reduced or frequently eliminated non-productive, order-taking phone time;

· Faster order fulfillment by avoiding lengthy and time consuming parts data entry;

· Automatic and instantly-verified part numbers against the vehicle’s VIN to improve order accuracy and help reduce parts returns; and

· Visibility to the complete parts order including aftermarket parts, along with the original equipment part equivalent to help dealers sell more OE parts.

CollisionLink provides collision repair shops with:

· An all-makes, all-models online parts ordering solution;

· Automatic integration from shop estimating systems and business systems to CollisionLink ordering;

· More accurate parts ordering to help speed-up vehicle cycle time, reduce supplemental ordering and reduced parts returns; and

· Current OEM parts pricing for more accurate customer and insurance repair estimates and invoicing.

The current CollisionLink solution was introduced in 2004, and has grown to include thousands of daily transactions processing millions of dollars of online orders. CollisionLink is available to auto dealerships and collision repair facilities nationwide.
