Airtex Fuel Delivery Systems Launches Fuel Pump U En Espanol

Airtex said the decision to develop this Spanish version was based on a National Automobile Dealers Association report that projected a growth in the field of automotive repair in the next five years, coupled with U.S. Census reports of an increasing percentage of Hispanic technicians. Both strongly suggest that an emphasis on bilingual training is important for the industry.

FAIRFIELD, Ill. – Airtex Fuel Delivery Systems, the world’s largest manufacturer of fuel pumps, has just launched the Spanish version of it’s award-winning FuelPumpU.com technical training website. This online resource, which offers real-time educational assistance, as well as current and in-depth information and fuel pump replacement support will now be available both in English and Spanish. Technicians can now visit the website for a myriad of technical resources and videos on diagnostic training and fuel delivery education in the language of their choice.

“We are proud to now offer Fuel Pump U in Spanish to meet the demands of the growing Hispanic technician work force,” says Brandon Kight, director of marketing and program development at Airtex and ASC Industries. “At Airtex, we are dedicated to serving the needs of auto repair technicians and providing the tools they need to diagnose and repair today’s fuel delivery systems accurately and efficiently. By offering these tools in both English and Spanish we can better serve those needs.”

Fuelpumpu.com was created in 2012 to keep up with the evolving technology of fuel delivery systems and alleviate potential misdiagnosis. The site is created and managed by the professionals at AIRTEX, and offers technical information for more than 75,000 searchable vehicles.

Headquartered in Fairfield, Ill., Airtex manufactures a comprehensive range of in-tank modular assemblies, electric, and
