SACRAMENTO, Calif. CAWA has announced that three major program groups the Aftermarket Auto Parts Alliance, Federated Auto Parts and the National Pronto Association have joined the association in support of its government affairs program.
According to CAWA President and CEO Rodney Pierini, "We are very honored to have received the recognition and support of these program groups. I believe these organizations have seen the value of supporting what we do out West and we could not be more pleased.”
These three program groups have joined with longtime CAWA members Genuine Parts Co. (NAPA) and General Parts International (CARQUEST, which was recently acquired by Advance Auto Parts).
“Hopefully, other program groups will also recognize our contributions to the industry and join in the future to support the association’s efforts as the aftermarket’s first line of defense out West," Pierini added.
CAWA is a regional automotive aftermarket trade association, which represents auto parts jobbers, warehouse distributors, retailers, manufacturers and manufacturer representatives in California, Nevada and Arizona. The association provides education, legislative, regulatory and business support to the industry and its membership. It is one of the largest trade associations of its kind in the United States and recognized as a leader in the automotive aftermarket industry.
