Activant, Winsby Group Expand ACES Aftermarket Data Mapping Alliance

Activant Solutions and Winsby Group, a supplier of application-specific data solutions for the automotive aftermarket, have expanded their partnership involving AAIA's ACES cataloging standard. Now, Activant will be the exclusive distributor of Winsby Group's latest release of the AceMapper data mapping technology.

AUSTIN, TEXAS — Activant Solutions and Winsby Group, a supplier of application-specific data solutions for the automotive aftermarket, have expanded their partnership involving AAIA’s ACES cataloging standard. Now, Activant will be the exclusive distributor of Winsby Group’s latest release of the AceMapper data mapping technology.

AceMapper and Activant’s in-house data mapping services are used by many automotive aftermarket suppliers for the conversion of data to AAIA’s Catalog Enhanced Standard (ACES). AceMapper, developed by Doug Winsby, lead architect of the ACES delivery format, is designed to reduce the time and cost required to convert data to the new standard. Activant and the latest AceMapper technology can now convert all manufacturer-supplied structured application files – including those not mapped to the AAIA legacy standard – to the ACES format.
