AUSTIN, TX — Mary Beth Loesch has joined Activant Solutions as its new vice president of business development. With more than 20 years experience in both private and public companies, Loesch is charged with driving Activant’s top-line growth through new market expansion and acquisitions.
Larry Jones, CEO of Activant, said Loesch will play a key role in one of Activant’s next major goals — growth through acquisition.
“Activant has created solid leadership in the automotive, hardware, lumber and wholesale trade segments of the business management software markets,” said Jones. “My mission is to drive the next level of growth for the company, and acquisitions are a key component of that strategy. Ms. Loesch’s combination of operating and acquisition experience provides an optimal blend for identifying high-growth opportunities that will impact the bottom line.”
Loesch was most recently the vice president of mergers and acquisitions at Interelate, a leader in next-generation relationship marketing services for Global 2000 companies. Prior to Interelate, Loesch was senior vice president, international & corporate development for MessageMedia, where she led the company’s global expansion as well as its growth in new markets through acquisition. Loesch’s extensive experience includes tenures as managing director of KPMG Consulting’s high-technology practice, senior vice president of marketing and print services at CSG Systems and an executive with US West.
