EVANSVILLE, Ind. Accuride Corp. has announced the appointment of company and industry veteran Tony Pape to the newly expanded role of director, aftermarket strategy and sales. Pape reports to Chuck Byrnes, senior vice president, sales and marketing, and is based at Accuride’s Evansville, Ill., headquarters.
“In addition to the investments we have made to improve performance for the aftermarket, Accuride has refined our sales and marketing efforts to reflect the importance of our aftermarket customers to the company’s near-term success and long-term business strategy,” said Byrnes. “Tony’s appointment to this role supports our heightened strategic focus on the aftermarket. We will rely on him for leadership on the aftermarket ‘Five Ps:’ Programs, Policies, Pricing, Procedures and People.”

With more than 25 years of industry sales and marketing experience, Pape joined Accuride in 2005 in an aftermarket leadership role and has held subsequent positions in sales and marketing. Prior to Accuride, he spent more than 14 years with Meritor in various marketing, sales and finance roles. Pape earned his MBA and bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Illinois.
