RESEARCH TRIANGLE PARK, N.C. The Automotive Aftermarket Suppliers Association (AASA), the light vehicle aftermarket division of the Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA), announced that Ben Brucato has joined the organization as director, membership and sponsorship, effective Oct. 13.
“Ben brings us a great perspective from his career at automotive aftermarket suppliers, which gives an invaluable, first-hand perspective to AASA’s membership programs and new member recruitment,” said Bill Long, AASA president and COO. “Ben is a great addition to the outstanding AASA team.”
Brucato’s responsibilities include membership recruitment and retention, recruitment of affiliate and associate members, and sponsorships of AASA events and special programs.
Prior to joining AASA, Brucato served as field sales manager at UCI-FRAM Group. His industry experience also includes working as the technical field training manager for Airtex Products, and service manager and technician at Tire Kingdom in West Palm Beach, Fla., and Greensboro, N.C.
Brucato is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, with a bachelor of science, double major in international business and economics.
