AAMCO Franchise Partners To Acquire 17 Existing Service Centers Nationwide

The new agreements, which were signed over the past 18 months, include 17 service centers in cities across California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia.

AAMCO-LogoAAMCO Transmissions Inc. announced that 17 of its current franchise owners have signed new franchise agreements to expand their portfolios and acquire existing AAMCO locations across the country. The new agreements, which were signed over the past 18 months, include 17 service centers in cities across California, Florida, Illinois, New Jersey, Texas and Virginia.

“These latest agreements are a testament to the strength of our growing brand and demonstrate the confidence our franchisees have in AAMCO,” said Brian O’Donnell, senior vice president of franchise support for AAMCO Transmission Inc. “Over the last couple of years, the company has made several significant investments in the brand to enhance its proven business model and further position franchisees for success. As a result of our efforts, AAMCO has experienced record growth and our franchise partners are reaping the benefits.”

Fueling the brand’s growth are significant investments in training and professional development for AAMCO’s franchisees and their employees, a new consumer financing program and enhanced sales systems and procedures. Furthermore, through AAMCO’s partnership with sister company, Global Powertrain Systems, and its remanufactured transmission facility, franchisees are able to utilize this resource to provide even greater value to their customers, the company says.

With nearly 700 centers across North America, AAMCO is actively seeking single- and multi-unit franchisee operators who are passionate about the brand and committed to providing the highest quality service. Interested candidates should have a minimum net worth of $250,000 and liquid assets of at least $65,000 per unit. Depending on the real estate site selected, franchisees can expect the total investment to be approximately $227,400 – $333,000 with a $39,500 initial franchise fee. Reduced franchise fees are available for honorably discharged veterans.
