In other top news this week, UCI Holdings, parent company of UCI International, announced the company’s results for the fourth quarter ended Dec. 31, 2011. Net sales of $237.3 million were essentially even to the fourth quarter of 2010, the company said.

Last in our weekly wrap-up, we learn that the owners of the MAG Group are considering selling the company. The leading machine tool company hired Goldman Sachs to assist in evaluating strategic alternatives for the company. According to MAG, the global automotive business will remain together as one unit across Europe, the Americas and Asia.
