CLEVELAND, Ohio – Learn what’s going on behind the scenes at one of the premier automotive learning institutions by connecting with Ohio Technical College (OTC) through Facebook or Twitter.

The accredited automotive school is using these two leading forms of social media to communicate directly with car enthusiasts and prospective students while highlighting the curriculum offered at OTC.

"Having a presence on these social media sites allows us to expand our reach to those interested in a career in the automotive industry," said Tom King, VP of enrollment management/technical training at OTC.  "We use Facebook as an extension of our website, www.OhioTech.edu, while Twitter gives us the ability to provide a virtual window on what we teach here at Ohio Technical College."

OTC’s Facebook page currently features school announcements, photos of student projects, videos and links to industry stories. It also includes information about OTC’s curriculum, from diesel equipment and collision repair to classic car restoration and welding.

Follow OTC on Twitter to see posts about OTC’s role in providing real-world training, links and photos from inside the classes, and information about upcoming events.
