CVSN Installs New Officers and Directors

CVSN Installs New Officers and Directors

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – At the recent Commercial Vehicle Solutions Network (CVSN) Aftermarket Distribution Summit held in Washington, D.C., CVSN installed the following new slate of officers and three new directors.

Marc Karon of Total Truck Parts, West Palm Beach, Fla., is the new president; Harry Amoroso of B&A Friction, San Jose, Calif., is vice president; Dave Willis of CRW Parts in Baltimore, Md., is treasurer; and Angelo Volpe, Jacksonville, Fla., is the CVSN executive vice president/secretary.

Three new directors also were installed: Tom Ogburn of Ogburn’s Truck Parts in Fort Worth, Texas; Dave Olsen of Transaxle in Cinnaminson, N.J., and Todd Manson of Webb Wheel Products in Cullman, Ala.

President Karon said, “CVSN is fortunate to continue to have a dedicated and capable board of directors that will lead our association to make decisions in the best interests of our members. We all owe thanks to these people who give freely of their time to help our industry achieve even greater success.”
 
CVSN was formed in 2006 from the merger of the Council of Fleet Specialists (CFS) and the National Wheel and Rim Association (NWRA). The association has close to 70 members and more than 500 warehouse locations across North America.

New President Ken Duval announced that the network will schedule its annual business conference to coincide with Heavy Duty Aftermarket Week.

“As part of our ongoing commitment to the industry, CVSN’s Executive Business Conference, held every spring, will be combined with the annual HDAW. CVSN’s support of HDAW in 2008 and leadership role in HDAW for 2009 and beyond will enhance the value of CVSN to both the supplier and distributor members,” said Duval.

CVSN’s Annual Business Forum, held each September will continue and will supplement CVSN’s year-round activities of creating business opportunities for our members through on-going professional development, legislative updates, education and industry-wide cooperation.
