SOUTHFIELD, Mich. — Anthony Pratt has been named director of forecasting, Americas of the Polk business unit at R. L. Polk & Co.
In this role, he will be responsible for managing and positioning Polk’s forecasting business in the Americas, while assuming strategic oversight and responsibility for showcasing, selling and delivering forecasting products, services and business intelligence to the U.S. marketplace. Pratt will become a member of Polk’s Global Sales Leadership Team.

Pratt will be based in Southfield, Mich., and will work closely with Polk’s global forecasting group in Essen, Germany. He has extensive experience developing and leading automotive forecasting teams and joins Polk from PricewaterhouseCoopers, LLP where he led its Detroit-based Autofacts team. Prior to that, he was senior manager of global powertrain forecasting at J.D. Power and Associates and has held marketing positions with several automotive suppliers, including TK Holdings (Takata), Federal-Mogul, NSK Ltd. and Freudenberg-NOK.
Pratt has a master’s of business administration degree and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Michigan State University. He also is vice president of the board of directors for the Society of Automotive Analysts.
