Hotchkis Performance Hires Rick Egan of Swift Engineering

Egan joins Hotchkis as the company enters its 17th year as a market leader in the high-performance suspension field.

SANTA FE SPRINGS, Calif. — Hotchkis Performance, a leader in high-performance aftermarket suspension, has announced the hiring of Rick Egan to the position of company controller. Egan comes to Hotchkis from Swift Engineering, where he was a part of the development of the historic 016.a chassis for the Champ Car Atlantic series and the "killer bee" unmanned aircraft systems for the U.S. Marines, amongst other successes. Egan joins Hotchkis as the company enters its 17th year as a market leader in the high-performance suspension field.

“Rick has a solid history in racing and product development, which makes him a perfect fit,” said Hotchkis Performance President John Hotchkis. "Despite tough economic times we had a good year in 2009, and we’re looking forward to an exciting 2010. Between an aggressive product development schedule and our track testing program Rick will be a key member of the Hotchkis management team and we’re thrilled to have him onboard."

Founded by former professional racecar drivers and national champions, Hotchkis Performance was one of the first to design and track test performance suspension for muscle cars. Nearly two decades later, Hotchkis remains dedicated to high-quality, track-tested, suspension that is made in the USA with domestic materials.
