Valvoline Instant Oil Change Simplifies Industry-First 300,000-Mile Engine Guarantee

Once signed up for the program, Valvoline will take care of all record-keeping for participants, as long as they continue to return to Valvoline Instant Oil Change for service.

WIXOM, Mich. — Valvoline Instant Oil Change (VIOC) has made it even easier for motorists to take advantage of its new 300,000-mile Engine Guarantee, which was introduced earlier this month.

Drivers can participate in the program hassle-free by taking their vehicles to any Valvoline Instant Oil Change for service. Once signed up for the program, VIOC will take care of all record-keeping for participants, as long as they continue to return to VIOC for service.

"We’re putting our money where our mouth is," said Sam Mitchell, president, Ashland Consumer Markets (Valvoline). "We want to keep people on the road. Period. Vehicles that use Valvoline continue to perform. We have the utmost confidence in our products, so we’re excited to now offer this best-in-class guarantee."

Drivers can check out details of the new program by visiting any Valvoline Instant Oil Change for their next oil change service. Or, they can go to www.vioc.com for more detailed program benefits and limitations. Vehicles are eligible to be registered only before reaching 75,000 miles.

Participants can choose to opt-in to the Valvoline Engine Guarantee program at various levels: for instance, use Valvoline Premium Conventional motor oil for a guarantee up to 150,000 miles; MaxLife or DuraBlend motor oils for a guarantee up to 225,000 miles; and, for maximum protection and a guarantee up to 300,000 miles, use SynPower Full Synthetic or MaxLife Full Synthetic motor oils.
