David Johanneson Named President and CEO of Navistar Financial

Johanneson succeeds Pamela Turbeville, who retired following 10 years of distinguished service to Navistar.

WARRENVILLE, Ill. — David Johanneson, a 36-year veteran in the truck industry, has been named president and chief executive officer of Navistar Financial Corp., a wholly owned subsidiary of Navistar International. Navistar Financial provides financial programs and services tailored to meet all Navistar’s customer and dealer equipment-financing needs.

Johanneson has held several sales, marketing and management roles at Navistar over the last 36 years, most recently leading truck sales, marketing and distribution activities worldwide as group vice president of global sales, marketing and distribution.

In his new role he reports to Terry Endsley, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Navistar International, and is based at Navistar Financial’s headquarters in Schaumburg, Ill.

Johanneson previously served as group vice president and general manager for the Medium Truck Vehicle Center for seven years. Under his guidance, the company launched the new high performance series trucks and maintained market leadership for Class 5-7 trucks.

Johanneson earned his B.A. from the University of Minnesota. He serves on the board of directors for Navistar entities and the Cornerstone Foundation.
