Former Urda Exec Forms New Aftermarket PR Agency

Kristen Simpson, former executive at Akron, Ohio-based PR agency Urda Co. (now Urda-Roberts), has launched Simpson Communications LLC. The new public relations agency, based in Shaker Heights, Ohio, will specialize in business-to-business communications for the automotive aftermarket. Simpson Communications will offer a full range of public relations services, including new product launches, press events, media relations, copywriting, strategic planning, event management and internal communications.

SHAKER HEIGHTS, OH — Kristen Simpson, former executive at Akron, Ohio-based PR agency Urda Co. (now Urda-Roberts), has launched Simpson Communications LLC. The new public relations agency, based in Shaker Heights, Ohio, will specialize in business-to-business communications for the automotive aftermarket.

“Many companies in the aftermarket develop exciting products and services, but then aren’t sure how to let their customers and prospects know what they have to offer,” said Simpson, president of the new agency. “We help organizations spread their messages efficiently and cost-effectively.”

Simpson has more than 12 years of experience in public relations, writing and marketing. Prior to founding Simpson Communications, she ran the public relations group of Urda Co., a full-service marketing, advertising and public relations agency, serving a number of companies in the aftermarket. Prior to that, she worked as a reporter.

Simpson Communications will offer a full range of public relations services, including new product launches, press events, media relations, copywriting, strategic planning, event management and internal communications.
