ACCC Names New Chairman

Howard Stein has been named new chairman of the board of directors for American Car Care Centers (ACCC). Stein is the president of Target Tire, headquartered in Jacksonville, N.C. Target Tire operates 11 distribution centers, servicing Virginia, North and South Carolina, eastern Tennessee, Georgia and northern Florida. The company has been a member distributor of ACCC since 1998.

JACKSONVILLE, NC — Howard Stein has been named new chairman of the board of directors for American Car Care Centers (ACCC). Stein is the president of Target Tire, headquartered in Jacksonville, N.C. Target Tire operates 11 distribution centers, servicing Virginia, North and South Carolina, eastern Tennessee, Georgia and northern Florida. The company has been a member distributor of ACCC since 1998.

Stein replaces Bill Williams, who headed the group during the past year. Stein’s objectives as ACCC chairman include: fostering membership at all levels (member distributor, master retailer and dealers), continuing to add value to the programs through vendor relationships and further differentiating ACCC from competing programs.
