Magazines Announce ‘Readers’ Choice Awards’ Recipients

The readers of Babcox’s Counterman, Brake & Front End, ImportCar and Underhood Service magazines have announced the Readers’ Choice Award recipients for 2004. The awards are based upon those companies whose advertising most successfully communicated their messages to the aftermarket.

AKRON, OH — The readers of Babcox’s Counterman, Brake & Front End, ImportCar and Underhood Service magazines have announced the Readers’ Choice Award recipients for 2004. The awards are based upon those companies whose advertising most successfully communicated their messages to the aftermarket.

Each year, Babcox, through AdScope research, mails questionnaires to parts professionals and repair shop owners across the country who receive the magazines. In specific detail, readers are asked about the relative impact and importance of each ad. Those ads that score the highest become the Readers’ Choice winners. For the last eight years, Babcox has awarded the Readers’ Choice honors.

Counterman reaches more than 50,000 professionals at every level of the U.S. automotive parts distribution channel. Brake & Front End magazine serves this country’s more than 40,000 repair shop owners whose businesses are concentrated on under-the-car repairs. ImportCar is the complete import service magazine, and is received by more than 29,000 import specialist repair shop operators across the country. Underhood Service provides technical repair editorial to more than 40,000 professionals who perform service and repair of the under-the-hood systems.
