DOVER, NJ — Aftermarket software provider Icas computer systems inc. announced the availability of PaceSetter version 4.0, which offers its customers another big gain in value for their software investment.

Just nine months after the previous release, 4.0 is packed with a multitude of new features. A few examples are: unlimited quantity pricing; purchase orders in foreign currencies; multiple invoice forms; notes for tickets/workorders, accounts, suppliers and equipment; accelerated pricing for low-value items; picking with a wireless data terminal; and A/P interface for BusinessWorks Gold.

This new release also includes many enhancements to existing programs. “Never before has there been a release with this many enhancements in such a short period of time. This is truly a monumental task and I am extremely proud of this accomplishment,” said Icas President Rudy Ventker.

Icas incorporates new features and enhancements as a result of industry changes and customer requests. Version 4.0 highlights, previewed at the 2004 user conference, were enthusiastically received by Pacesetter users. Since then customers were anxiously awaiting the release of version 4.0.
