PITTSBURGH, PA — PPG Automotive Refinish, in support of the automotive refinish industry, will exhibit at all three industry trade shows during Automotive Aftermarket Industry Week in November in Las Vegas.

PPG has been dedicated to the advancement of the industry and continues to focus its resources on the training and development of collision repair technicians and office personnel. In 2004, PPG trained more than 9,500 technicians and 2,500 front office staff in areas such as product, estimating, sales and management.

The PPG booth at SEMA, #23791, will feature the Vibrance Collection, PPG’s brand of custom finishes. The booth will showcase the hot colors, unique pigments and special-effect finishes featured in the brand, as well as the line of special primers, clears and detailing products designed to ensure a show-stopping appearance.

PPG’s booth at AAPEX, #2366, will exhibit PPG’s automotive aftercare products, including Aquapel Glass Treatment, an advanced rain-repellant application that reduces glare and enhances driving visibility in the rain. The treatment, which is professionally applied, repels rain and snow from auto glass, reduces glare and improves driving visibility, especially during rainy nighttime conditions.

The PPG booth at NACE, # W1721, will showcase the benefits of the CertifiedFirst Network of Collision Repair Centers, a North American performance-focused marketing program designed to develop and promote an image of professionalism, quality and high customer satisfaction for participating collision centers. Highlighted at this year’s show, the CertifiedFirst Network will showcase its newest initiative – Performance Power. Performance Power is a new business solution that provides collision repair centers with a combination of technology, tools and training for optimizing their operations.
