SAN DIEGO, CA — Mitchell International has announced the release of a new product for collision repair estimators, called Estimate Review.
Estimate Review is an automated self-audit/review tool. Whenever an estimate is saved in UltraMate Premier Suite, Estimate Review analyzes it against user-defined criteria and alerts estimators to any variances that might trigger a partner to reject an estimate, or to items that were simply left off. All of this happens before the estimate is committed and uploaded — reducing unnecessary supplements for increased shop efficiency, according to the company.
A “Confirmation Compliance Report” is generated for every estimate reviewed, so estimators can quickly locate any line-item(s) in need of adjustment or explanation before the estimate is committed — so estimates can be accepted faster, the first time and supplements reduced, said Mitchell International.
Users can create and manage multiple profiles against which to compare their estimates, making it simple to keep various insurance partners’ numerous individual requirements on Labor Rates, Alternate Parts Usage and hundreds of other items straight. Or even more conveniently, shops may download and import carrier requirement profiles directly from insurers using Compliance Manager — a companion product, also by Mitchell.
Mitchell’s Estimate Review can review estimates from most major collision estimating platforms that are CIECA/EMS-compliant.
