COLMAR, PA — Dorman Products, the corporate brand name of R&B Inc., has signed a lease to occupy a 268,000-square-foot distribution center located in Portland, TN, approximately 35 miles north of Nashville. Richard Berman, president of Dorman Products, said of the new distribution center, “We are very excited about our expansion which allows us to more closely align our services with our customers’ needs and to accommodate the future growth of our new-to-the-aftermarket product lines. OE Solutions has grown from five categories to 30 in a four-year time span, and our new products team is constantly looking for new ways to make the automotive aftermarket more profitable by reducing the dependency upon the OE dealer.”

Dorman, headquartered in Colmar, PA, also has distribution centers in Warsaw, KY; Louisiana, MO; Baltimore, MD; Tumba, Sweden; and Ontario, Canada. The company expects to move in to the Portland distribution center in March and will reach full capacity by the end of 2006.
