DENSO Sales California (DSCA) has named Kazu Yanagawa vice president of DSCA's Materials Control Group effective Aug. 1. Yanagawa oversees the Materials Operation, Inventory Control, Procurement, Logistics and Kaizen (continuous improvement) departments.

Richard Shiozaki has been appointed vice president of aftermarket sales and corporate services for DENSO Sales California, Inc., the $500 million affiliate of DENSO Corp. Shiozaki, who formerly served as senior manager of the aftermarket sales group, assumes new responsibilities for corporate services from Mark Jonas, who retired in June.

LONG BEACH, CA — DENSO Sales California (DSCA) has named Kazu Yanagawa vice president of DSCA’s Materials Control Group effective Aug. 1. Yanagawa oversees the Materials Operation, Inventory Control, Procurement, Logistics and Kaizen (continuous improvement) departments.

Yanagawa joined DSCA in 1985 as a member of the Procurement department. In 1987, he transferred to the Production Control department to support various production operations. Yanagawa moved to the Materials Management department in 2003.

LONG BEACH, CA — Richard Shiozaki has been appointed vice president of aftermarket sales and corporate services for DENSO Sales California, Inc., the $500 million affiliate of DENSO Corp.

Shiozaki, who formerly served as senior manager of the aftermarket sales group, assumes new responsibilities for corporate services from Mark Jonas, who retired in June.

Shiozaki joined the company in 1986 as a member of the marketing department. In 1988, he moved to the Toyota sales team and later added responsibility in sales planning. Shiozaki then moved to aftermarket sales and customer service in 2002.

In his new role as vice president, Shiozaki will oversee technical services, sales planning, customer service, U.S. and Latin America automotive aftermarket and OES, heavy duty OEM and OES aftermarket, accounting, business planning, human resources, safety & facilities and corporate affairs.
