O’Reilly Automotive Opening East Coast DC in North Carolina

Auto parts retailer O'Reilly Automotive said Tuesday that it will open an East Coast distribution center in Greensboro, NC. O'Reilly will invest $41.7 million over three years and create 360 jobs paying an average wage of $27,201 per year plus benefits, according to a news release from the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance.

GREENSBORO, NC — Auto parts retailer O’Reilly Automotive said Tuesday that it will open an East Coast distribution center in Greensboro, NC.

The distribution center will be in a new 300,000-square-foot building in McConnell Center next to Interstate 40/85.

O’Reilly will invest $41.7 million over three years and create 360 jobs paying an average wage of $27,201 per year plus benefits, according to a news release from the Greensboro Economic Development Alliance.

Last week, county commissioners approved giving up to $204,367 in incentives to the company to be distributed over three years.

Earlier, the City Council awarded the company $187,696 in incentives, which also is to be paid over three years.
