University of the Aftermarket Encouraging Registration for Data Standards Course

This live, two-day educational program is open to anyone who works with the aftermarket standards ACES and PIES, or who would benefit from developing a general knowledge base on them.

The University of Aftermarket, through Northwood University, is accepting registration for Aftermarket Data Standards, a course to help aftermarket catalog managers and product information professionals sharpen their knowledge and management of the industry data standards – ACES and PIES.

Dr. Thomas Litzinger, executive director of the University of the Aftermarket and aftermarket education industry chair at Northwood University, explained that learners who take Aftermarket Data Standards will become familiar with the Auto Care databases and how to use them effectively in their day-to-day work.

This live, two-day educational program is open to anyone who works with the aftermarket standards ACES and PIES, or who would benefit from developing a general knowledge base on them. Students will gain working foundational knowledge of the aftermarket data standards and practice firsthand how to use the relevant databases to create ACES and PIES files. The program will be taught by experienced aftermarket professionals from the Auto Care Association.

“Aftermarket Data Standards course is a great way to unlock the pathway to streamlined efficiency, enhanced collaboration, and positive growth in the aftermarket industry,” Litzinger said.

The deadline to register for Aftermarket Data Standards is June 4. The program is scheduled for June 18-19 at MAHLE Aftermarket Inc. in Farmington Hills, Michigan.
