NEXEN TIRE OE on 8th-Gen BMW 5 Series

The South Korean tiremaker got OE approval for its N’FERA SPORT premium tires.

NEXEN TIRE announced its N’FERA SPORT tires will be OE on the eighth-generation of the BMW 5 Series Sedan.

N’FERA SPORT tires are NEXEN’s European premium sports tire that “provide excellent dry and wet performance through a wide longitudinal groove and features asymmetrical patterns,” the tiremaker said.

In addition, pattern design optimization improves high-speed reliability, handling performance and noise suppression significantly and the grip was enhanced by the use of new compounds, according to NEXEN TIRE.

In summer tire tests conducted by European automobile magazines such as Germany’s AutoBild, ADAC, and Ace Lenkrad, the N’FERA SPORT received “strong” and “purchase” recommendation ratings. The tire was also awarded the main prize in the product design category of the “Red Dot Design Awards” in Germany, the company said.

NEXEN TIRE is supplying its N’FERA SPORT tires in size 225/55 R18 102Y XL.
