Stanadyne Partners with Wesley Motorsports

Wesley will use Stanadyne’s 350-bar, high-flow GDI pumps on its custom-built T6 Hurricane HO engine.

Global fuel and air management systems supplier Stanadyne is partnering with Wesley Motorsports to provide the American racing company with its high-performance gasoline direct injection (GDI) fuel pump technology.

Wesley Motorsports will use Stanadyne’s 350-bar, high-flow GDI pumps on its custom-built T6 Hurricane HO engine being featured in its 2021 Dodge Challenger Mopar Drag Pak specialty vehicle.

Stanadyne says it is providing Wesley Motorsports with a bolt-on solution to deliver 60 percent higher fuel flow than the standard factory-installed GDI pumps. The company’s new high-performance pump design is specifically engineered for specialty vehicle builds and tuning.

“Partnering with Wesley Motorsports allows us to test our performance and specialty vehicle fuel systems in one of the harshest operating environments – the racetrack,” said Stanadyne President, Gasoline Systems, David Zimmerman. “We are looking forward to seeing what our high-performance pump design can really do.”

“We are looking forward to pushing Stanadyne’s new high-performance pump to its limits,” said Wesley Motorsports Owner Kevin Wesley. “This is the start of a great partnership, and we are excited about the opportunity to help Stanadyne bring other high-performance GDI fuel system products to the track.”
