MEYLE has released the MEYLE PD two-component brake disc that offers excellent braking performance coupled with high comfort, the company said. The two-component brake disc complements MEYLE’s array of brake components for the aftermarket.

The brake disc offers maximum driving comfort and durability even in the toughest conditions, the company said. The PD two-component brake disc has OE features such as precise fit, low offset and reduced weight for fuel and CO2 savings. At the same time, it offers benefits typical for the MEYLE PD line: high performance, ride comfort and sophisticated design, according to the company.

Long-lasting corrosion protection without cumbersome degreasing and mounting in 99% of cases with a fixing bolt also make handling in the workshop efficient. The PD two-component brake disc is ready to be rolled out for the most common BMW and Mercedes vehicle types – to be followed by many other models soon, MEYLE said.
