O’Reilly Auto Parts Opens New Distribution Center in Mexico

O’Reilly has operated in Mexico since 2019, when it acquired Mayasa Auto Parts and its 21 ORMA-branded parts stores.

O’Reilly Automotive, Inc., has opened its first distribution center in Guadalajara, Mexico. O’Reilly has been operating in Mexico since the end of 2019, when it completed the acquisition of Mexico-based Mayasa Auto Parts and its 21 ORMA-branded parts stores. The company now operates more than 40 stores in Mexico.

“The two companies had such similar stories,” said Chip Carlson, O’Reilly vice president of international business development. “Both began as family-owned and operated businesses, with team cultures that value honesty and excellent customer service. Our growth is part of a commitment to advance those values as we build out our store network in Mexico, providing the broadest product coverage and most helpful team members in the industry.”

The new distribution center is more than 370,000 square feet. Its opening will increase service levels to existing stores and accommodate continued growth, the company said.

“O’Reilly continues to invest in our team members, infrastructure and facilities to support our continued growth in the U.S. and Mexico,” said Greg Johnson, O’Reilly CEO. “Our professional parts people at our more than 6,000 stores focus on providing excellent customer service every day. We are excited to open this new distribution center in Guadalajara to support our continued expansion in Mexico.”
