Platinum Driveline, Delphi Announce Strategic Partnership

The relationship is expected to increase Delphi's presence in the Mexican automotive aftermarket.

Delphi Technologies Aftermarket and Platinum Driveline Companies, a worldwide distributor of automotive aftermarket products, have announced their plans to work together via Platinum Driveline operations located in Queretaro, Mexico. The relationship is expected to increase the growing presence of the Delphi brand within the Mexican automotive aftermarket, the company said.

A full “rollout” of the product lines will be provided at the upcoming Expo Rujac in Guadalajara at the Platinum Driveline booth, 1490. While Platinum has access and intends to distribute all Delphi product lines, the initial emphasis will be on chassis, to ensure quality service to customers, Delphi said.

“We are excited to have the Platinum team distribute the Delphi program,” said Enrique Velazquez, country director for Delphi Technologies IAM. “The Platinum Driveline team is very well-respected in our industry has a presence in every state in Mexico, and they have decades of experience. It’s a great fit for Delphi.”

“Adding the Delphi-branded programs allow us to diversify our product offering and add tremendous credibility to our commitment of only offering the highest quality products,” said Robert Insalaco, president of Platinum Driveline USA and Mexico. “Delphi is the best. We are extremely excited for this opportunity.”
