ZF Showcases New Products, Services For Mexico Aftermarket

The company is adding TRW brake discs, rotors and drums and two new digital solutions for customers in the region.

ZF Aftermarket is expanding its product and service offerings for the passenger car aftermarket in Mexico and is showcasing its offerings at INA PAACE Automechanika from July 12-14 at Centro Citibanamex in Mexico City, Booth #3004. ZF Aftermarket will also be featured in the German Pavillion, Booth #2310.

The company is adding TRW brake discs, rotors and drums to its portfolio of braking products for passenger cars in the region. With these additions, the company offers a complete braking system solution for the aftermarket, featuring TRW “True Original” parts developed for OE manufacturers. TRW designs OE braking systems for more than half of the vehicles in the world, and with more than 700 part numbers, ZF Aftermarket provides coverage for 90 percent of vehicles in Mexico, the company said.

“The TRW brand is recognized worldwide for safety, quality and innovation, and our brands have been in workshops in the region for many years. We are very pleased proud to make the complete portfolio of braking products available for the first time in Mexico, offering high quality parts to 90 percent of all vehicles in the country,” said Thomas Kerkhoff, managing director for Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, ZF Aftermarket.

ZF Aftermarket said TRW brake discs, rotors and drums offer numerous advantages, including volatile corrosion inhibitor (VCI) protection for oil-free, quick assembly. High carbon content makes them lighter weight, more resistant to deformation and crystallization and decreases noise and vibration for better overall performance.

In addition, the company is highlighting two new digital solutions to help customers simplify and streamline their operations. The ZF Quotation App is a digital app on the market designed to help workshops and technicians connect with their customers throughout Mexico. The app enables users installing SACHS, TRW or BOGE products to prepare a repair or maintenance quote and order parts with just a few clicks. Designed for tire shops, mechanical workshops, service centers and general installation points, it can search for parts, quote them with installation, request them from the user’s supplier of choice, and generate a formal quote in hard copy, electronic document or via WhatsApp.

ZF Aftermarket is also launching a new platform for warranty claims. The company said every ZF, SACHS, TRW, WABCO and BOGE product carries the quality and after-sale support of original equipment. In the event that a customer needs to make a warranty claim, they can do so with a new platform that makes it faster and easier for mechanics to get direct feedback from ZF technical experts, simplifying the process into three steps so that issues can be diagnosed in less than 24 hours.

ZF said its experts are conducting technical training sessions throughout the three-day event, including training on ZF transmissions, ride control, clutches and the modern chassis system. They are also demonstrating the Más Mecánico platform, a workshop program that provides extra technical resources and an online community for repair shops.
