Registration open for Northwood’s INFUSION 23-24

The series is for aftermarket executives who want to become more efficient and proficient at leading their organization.

Registration is now open for Northwood University’s INFUSION 23-24, a two-week, five-day development series for high-level executives who want to become more efficient and proficient at leading their organization. 

“INFUSION 23-24 is for leaders in the automotive aftermarket who are committed to achieving better results for their organization, who choose to inspire their team to achieve greatness, and who are dedicated to improving the human condition,” stated Thomas Litzinger, executive director of the University of Aftermarket, Northwood University. 

Infusion 23-24 is constructed for participants to learn to analyze varying approaches to:

  • Appraise better results
  • Develop ground-breaking leadership skills
    Create dynamic organization cultures
  • Measure the adverse impacts of organizational isolation
  • Diagram state-of-the-art cybersecurity stratagems
  • Compare best practices in supply chain management
  • Express knowledge in mergers and acquisitions
  • Evaluate their corporate strategy
  • Differentiate their competitive advantage from their competition

“Leaders who understand their role in helping their team increase their levels of life-satisfaction outcomes should attend this executive development series,” Litzinger added. “Leaders who aspire to be inspirational captains of their organization’s destiny – who accept the challenges correlated with developing a healthy and vibrant culture that will provide increased levels of retention, engagement and performance – are encouraged to attend.”

As part of the Infusion course outcomes, attendees will be able to:

  • Be better equipped to operate their businesses in an ever-changing global economy in a post-pandemic environment.
  • Repeat best practices and share knowledge on how to recognize operating procedures designed to achieve maximum return on investment approaches devised to improve bottom-line results. 
  • State how to improve their organizational culture and decrease the adverse impact of organizational isolation. 
  • Identify policies that lessen the probability of cyber-security breaches, analyze merger and acquisition schemes, and compare methodologies to maintain their competitive advantage.

The coursework will consist of two five-day sessions, Sunday through Thursday, with class participation between sessions designed to promote personal and professional development. The first session will be Oct. 8-12 at the Inn at St. Johns in Plymouth, Michigan, and the second will be May 5-9 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

“Sessions will be instructed by highly successful leaders who have experienced significant levels of success in our post-pandemic environment,” Litzinger noted. “Our coursework will focus on the positive attributes required to navigate in an ever-changing, rapidly evolving global economy.”

Specific topics will include supply chain strategies and enhancements; cybersecurity best practices; mergers and acquisitions (M&A) discussions; organizational culture; leadership; strategy; creating an inspirational competitive advantage; and achieving better results in 2023-24.

The tentative schedule includes:

  • Oct. 8 – Opening session with dinner and keynote speaker
  • Oct. 9 – “Leadership and Strategy” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 10 – “Supply Chain and Cybersecurity” from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 11 – “M&A Creating an Inspirational Competitive Advantage from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Oct. 12 – “Achieving Better Results” and team presentations

Those who attend INFUSION 23-24 will receive seven continuing education units (CEUs) toward the Automotive Aftermarket Professional (AAP), Master Automotive Aftermarket Professional (MAAP), Executive/Specialty Automotive Aftermarket Professional (SPAAP) designation.
